I have worked at last on Hope update , and today Hope 1.3.1 is released to co-operate with the latest version of wordpress 2.3.2

Hope 1.3.1 has the following changes :

• - widget plugins and Tags support
• - bug-fixed for 404 page .

I had to upload the version now temporarily on a file sharing because wordpress-theme-site guys did it again and closed the themes site login (you have to contact them first before you are permitted to update your theme…!! )

any way , am happy cause i found time for this update , waiting your feedback and ready to help in any expected problems (wish there are none )

at last i have got the permission to upload and update the designs on wordpress theme site .

Hope is a wordpress theme has been tested on :

IE6 , IE7 , Firefox 2.x , Opera 9.10 .

• - 2 columns.
• - Fluid width
• - is under creative commons license.
• - use it freely, just leave my name link in the footer and in the css file.

Unfortunately I don’t have a mac on my pc , so i tested the site on Safari by an online service which is browsrcamp , but i need to make more test on safari to be sure.

update : (after the release for ” Safari for windows) i managed to test the design clearly now,thanks apple !)

the design is tested for “Safari” (after the release of safari for windows ) and a bug has been fixed.

changed the rounded box image technique to fit so wide screens .

A bug is fixed in header menu

all update details is found in the “changelog.txt” file in the design folder .

Update : Hope 1.3.1 is released

“زهرة البستان” is my first theme i make for wordpress and my first contribution in open source ..the name means “Garden flower” .

am very happy and excited with this experiment because am interested in open source , also because it made me go in depth for a lot of design issues i haven’t take before .

This design has been tested on :

IE6 , IE7 , Firefox2 , Opera 9.10

-for wordpress 2.0 and above.
-was made for “right to left” sites .
-2 columns.
-has a “readme” file .
-is under creative commons license.
-you can use and edit as you like but a small link for me would me appreciated .

ِAnother thing different from “code poet” and “poem code” is called “poem in code” this may be confusing a bit at first but you shouldn’t be .

“poem code” is the code written in a poetic way.
“code poet” is the programmer writing in that way.

if you encounter a piece of poem written in a program source code or in the program comment this is just a “poem in a code” and has no relation at all in making that code a “poem code” .
a “poem code” is a piece of code have some characteristics making it an outstand of other code.and the existence of poems in a code doesn’t make that code itself a “poem code” .

i believe it is a way to make the programmer expresses himself to the world “here come mr….”
if you have ever used “wordpress” and opened the default theme css file you will find some piece of poem written at the end of file

this programmer is at ease when writing his code , he enjoys his work as an artist creates a painting he wants to make us share his feeling, and feel that a file of code is an enjoyable read
in another way also i see that this principle my be used in further prospect.

it can be a way to represent my culture ,favorites and thinking to others and hence open a way of communications between programmers all over world.

so an Arab programmer for example can write in his program code file the following in the comment.

“دع عنك لومى فإن اللوم إغراء و داونى بالتى كانت هى الداء”

but i must warn that there are restricted rules must be taken if anyone uses that way he should never put any content regarding religion ,Intolerance , violence , sexuality,Racism
or anything hurts people feelings..if this prospect would be given concern i think these rules should be put as a base to measure a code’s acceptance and level.

probably u have heard that expression before and neglected it by the thought that some technophobe is trying to draw a surreal image over programming or you have never heard of it before.

this term came to existence from the idea that there is a tie between poet and programming and this idea didn’t find a wide acceptance and made waves of debates till this moment.
by reading further in that approach i found myself totally admiring and completely believer of it and am not exaggerating if i said that at my first steps in programming i thought of it as poet but i couldn’t believe someone will assure that later !

the conclusion of the approach is that programming language is like the human language in that it is a way of expressing the man s’ ideas , some people object to that by saying that a programming language is a machine language understood only by the computer but this is not true.actually the computer cannot read any program unless it is compiled first to binary code the form which it can understand and deal with , and that make us come to the fact that the only ones can understand a programming language are programmers themselves..so it is a language between programmers and they use it to express their ideas to reach something they want.

coming to the definition of a poem..a poem is a creative way to express your ideas in an exceptional and extraordinary use of the language making it more pretty, and here is our part comes , also the code poem is an exceptional and extraordinary use of the programming language which makes it more beautiful than ordinary code written in the same language.

if you are a programmer you have for sure passed some beautiful pieces of code that made you stand by it long wanting to know how they did it and how can you do your own that way finding yourself thinking that you are really using a pretty tool to program and you can participate in showing this prettiness to world..you have encountered at that moment a “code poem”.

code can be written not just correct and efficient but also in an artistic way make it enjoyable to read and write..and the one who writes such code is called “code poet” he is a high level programmer.

i believe that next decade will show more of this science and the rules of making it.
am sure you would like that article that helped me rethink in that expression , it is wonderful

ok i don’t know whether i laugh or i kill myself..i have watched “Casino Royale” accidentally because it was the only high rated movie in the theaters at that time..am not “Bond” fan..and that pours the whole blame on me!!

the idea of secret agent “Bond” itself is not bad..it was good at its first show before it lacks the human nature touch and develop into Mr incredible doing shows never can be ..for this one (attacking embassy with no single wound and going out !)..
the other thing that sucks..is that filthy image of “Bond” women…always appearing in “bikinis” and do nothing important in the movie except telling me “hey idiot you want to see some romance ?” i hate representing women in that way.

the approach of keeping the series for ever with no stop to gain more money made it lacks any real sense and made it perceived
and expected..Mr incredible can fall in love for a a “Bond” girl painted with some intelligence (”to satisfy normal people partially”)but he must leave her for any reason (death,betrayal..)to let the door open for more bikini girls in next series!!

icy “Daniel Craig” is good at that movie because in my opinion that comes with the real soul of bond..

and in spite of my low rate for these series i always find its sound track songs terrific..at the top of them “tomorrow never dies” for “Sheryl Crow” and i am downloading now “You know my name” by “Chris Cornel” for this movie ..

if you like true felt movies don’t go to that one.if you like the “Bond Combo” “blood+bikinis+guns+drinks” don’t hesitate it is fun for you.i know most people don’t agree with me but for “imdb”
i give it 5 of 10 (”just for the high quality not anything else !”).

season 231 .

years ago ..i saw a window in the sky
i felt a flutter in my chest
lightly i leapt and opened it..
a charming world appeared behind ,two deep eyes lurking out there
who was staring at whom.me or it ?
coming closer to take a glance…a sigh came out me.
what beauty !..breathlessly wide eyed i began to chase .
every motion ,song , laugh , tear , beauty and grace.
days and nights came over me Mesmerizing still.
and a tear has dropped …knowing the fact .
am imprisoned .my head is out, my body is in.
i have been separated in two parts .
to never be there , never be here .
never be complete again.

no am not gonna talk about suse !…emmm..have you seen a lizard lately?.. a human lizard , standing on two legs!! this is weird but i have seen !!
some time ago i have noticed something while i was riding “microbus” at “El Haram ” street..the driver was playing some foreign “Cassette song” and to be accurate a Disco one ..of course it wasn’t understood as these kind of songs depend on strongness of music and vague words. I was stunned a little..does he understand it..or is he enjoying it? i rides microbuses frequently and i know that in general drivers are a level of society ..share a taste of music and so forth..they are simple people want to earn their living and not a high class level…but i said at that time that every rule has an exception and that driver may be educationally different or at least intellectually so.
but another ride later in that street i noticed that the driver is playing soft and sensasual romantic song which can’t be enjoyed at all at that atmosphere of sweating and fees fights !! again i said he might be in love or whatever !! .these accidents repeated and in that street i heard all kinds of music. highly sensed songs or fashioned songs, carefully chosen ones, foreign and Arabic. and i began to wonder what differs “El Haram” drivers from drivers at other areas “which is so populated” and play “tenth level ” songs for local singers (no not s3d el sa3′yr ) , he is famous now .but not known singers .I think environment is the cause.environment may cause people to behave differently.

another prove for my discovery came from “Banking”..i ran in trouble lately with “ATM” machine in “El Giza” branch of my bank .and i had terrible 2 days and took a tour to all branches till i solved it “كعب داير” ,i noticed difference in those branches ” El Giza ” branch ,”El Haram” ,branch “El Dokki” . the lesser branch in customer service care was “El Giza” .

even mosques.. “El sayda Aesha” mosque is not the same as “Mostafa mahmod” mosque. the first lacks cleaning and concern while “Mostfa mahmood” which is located in a very special area surrounded by malls , companies and less popularly is so clean , has a screen in women part to show you “el emam” , even people attending it is behaving nicely .no shout for tiny reasons , calm faces .

so i believe that our behavior changes by our environment..our appearance also .”El Haram” drivers are affected by malls and shops ,casinos there which of course play latest kinds of music and songs. also Bank employees behave nicely in high class places because they are less stressed and may be (i say may) guided to behave so also because important figures live nearby !!

weird enough is that it also go on blogging..if you live in “Egypt” even if you are in good and wealthy position your writing would be affected by what you or others see and suffer from , and people will see “pain” pop up from your blog .if you in other wealthy less troubled country, your writing would show your personality much better because it won’t be stressed by mighty pressures .(every rule has exceptions).

i think being lizard is a human nature.
